We have the best team ever here at Mountain City Candles.  Tammi, Stacey and Adri are the primary chandlers, and Lizzy makes the wax melts and tarts.  Jake does the heavy lifting and carries hundreds of pounds of candles and wax wherever we need them.  Corbin has the most important job - he keeps us all in line and keeps us rolling in laughter!

Mountain City Candles was started as a hobby in 2015, and gifting candles to family & friends led to an increase in demand for our high quality candles.  We founded the company in 2018 and we've been growing quickly ever since.

We're primarily an online ecommerce store.  We operate a small retail space at Finley Bee in Bedford, PA, open one weekend per month.  We attend as many Frostburg First vendor events as we can (visit our Events Page to find us!).  We are a wholesale candle business and we provide private label candles to many of Our Partners across the USA.  We also love to participate in fundraising for our local community, and we donate 35% of candle fundraising sales to the organization.

Our passion is providing candle lovers with clean burning soy candles that smell exactly as they are named. If you buy a Banana Nut Bread candle, then we believe it should smell exactly like Banana Nut Bread.  Do you know what an Ocean Breeze smells like?  You will when you smell our candle.  Each of our scents are meticulously tested to make sure they smell like they should.  We have a wide variety of scented candles and melts available, and we're testing new fragrances all the time.  So check back often for new candle scent releases!
