Triple live edge, dark walnut hardwood centerpiece with 3 glass votive candles. This piece is made from dark walnut and has a live edge on 3 sides. The length of the bark of this piece gives it a beautiful, rusic, unique personality.
Coated with polyurethane to protect against scratches, resist water damage, and to improve the durability of your handcrafted piece.
Approximately 20 inches long by 7.5 inches wide, and 1 inch thick. Votive glasses are 3 oz each, filled with unscented soy wax.
Display a mixture of candles and small succulents on this rare find for a modern decor variation. It will make a beautiful, simple, and natural centerpiece for your dinner table. Or use it as home decor on a windowsill, side table, or mantel. It will certainly turn some heads with its natural, contemporary beauty.
Our wood has been reclaimed from yards, farms, and wooded areas in Allegany & Garrett Counties where weather has caused downed trees. Reusing these trees is a great way to reduce waste and to bring new life back into the history of our area.
Trim candle wicks to 1/4 inch before every burn. Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time. Never leave candle unattended. Keep away from children and pets.
Unlike production pieces, I use a slow, hand-crafted process with my woodworking. It's my (nearly) nightly routine to spend a couple hours woodworking after my son has crawled into bed at the end of the day. It's how I unwind from my work days, reconnecting with the earth and relaxing by letting my hands find the beauty in each wood cut. Each hardwood slab has been harvested from locally grown, Maryland trees, kiln dried. Since each piece is individually handmade, there are subtle variations that factory-produced wood decor items lack. Blemishes, knots, size, and color will vary with each piece, giving them each a uniqueness that makes them incredibly desirable.
